New CS4 Deployment Documentation
There is new CS4 deployment documentation posted on the Creative Suite ADC site. This represents a significant upgrade to the old documentation available at launch.

There are 4 documents and three planning sheets. The CS4 Toolkit guide was completely redone. The deployment guide takes you one level deeper with more background around planning for deployments and some best practices. The planning sheets go with the deployment guide.
Happy Reading!

Thank you!
This information, and the associated toolkit, are exactly what we need in an enterprise environment. It allows us to pre-serialise the installer, it allows us to use standard platform specific deployment methods (Apple Remote Desktop, Microsoft SMS) to deploy it and there is support for these workflows.
This is a huge step in the right direction to keep enterprise customers happy, whilst still retaining the Adobe Installer for retail customers.
I am very grateful that now there is an official way to re-package the CS4 installers without resorting to reverse-engineering the original installers, or using snapshot/diff style methods to generate new installer packages.
