Early this morning the Buzzword team successfully migrated to a new hosting service. Although we hope and expect that the migration was invisible to all Buzzword users, you might have noticed a few changes.
First, we’ve moved to SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), a more secure protocol for communicating between your computer and our server. The only visible sign of this change is that our web address now begins with https, instead of plain old http.

We heard about a Buzzword user recently who happily created a document on-line and after getting through the first draft, he promptly exported the document to a Word file and sent it to his collaborators as an email attachment.

Thanks to several people for jumping into the “Buzzword Mavens” discussion on the Buzzword forum! There were some great ideas, which will be summarized below. But more important was the reminder that having a place like the public Buzzword forum is a great way to carry on the two-way conversations that we need to help move Buzzword forward.
