Screen sharing is one of the most, if not the most, important features of online meetings and something we continue to improve upon. We are excited to share with you the following ConnectNow screen sharing enhancements we’ve made based on your feedback.
Faster Screen Sharing. Some of you told us you were experiencing screen sharing delays when sharing with lower bandwidth or slow Internet connections. To improve the performance of screen sharing in these circumstances, we tuned our screen sharing algorithm so it transmits data more efficiently. The first time you enter your meeting room you will be asked to download the new add-in with improved screen sharing. You now have the option to optimize screen sharing for faster performance or for higher quality, with the default set to faster performance. You can change your screen sharing setting to higher quality by going to the meeting menu, selecting preferences, then screen share, then enable “high fidelity”.
Better Screen Sharing Viewing Experience and Controls. We’ve made it easier for you to zoom in, go full screen or even take control of the presenter’s screen, with more obvious controls. And you now have option to navigate the screen with an easy-to-use hand tool.
We heard from you that sometimes you got dizzy while viewing someone’s shared screen because their extraneous mouse movements resulted in unintended screen focus shifts. We now default to “scale to fit” instead of “zoomed in”, so a presenter’s mouse movements don’t impact your view. And when zoomed in, we give you the option to follow the presenter’s mouse as she or he scrolls the content or scroll independently.
More Obvious Way to Stop Screen Sharing. We heard from many of you that it wasn’t clear how to stop screen sharing. So, we added a bright red button at the top of the screen sharing palette, which you can click to stop sharing your screen and return to the meeting room.

I have relatives in south africa and the cheapest way to talk with each other is skype or something like that!
The connection is not always as good as it should be, but with screen sharing you can avoid many problems!
Screen sharing helped me to stay calm very often, because the functions are very good and i am really serious!

Thanks for your work on this Adobe. ConnectNow is definitely the fastest, cleanest and easiest screen sharing app around. I’ve set up a personal short neat little .com domain that redirects to my meeting URL. I read this out over the phone if we need to set up a quick ad hoc screen share without fussing around with the longer connectnow URL or inviting participants – works nicely. I hope this tool is around for a long time to come and would happily pay a small fee for more participants.

Connectnow BETA is great for the new features and slick look. ConnectNow beta however is of limited use with 3 participants max at any time.
Connectnow Standard is great for having up to 15 participants but is really lacking the features of ConnectNow beta.
I am willing to pay for the ConnectNow Std service if it were updated to the new interface. When will this be done?

ConnectNow Beta is a great tool for screen sharing. it is really fast and the look is really clean. a tuned up algorithm of the tool for lower bandwidths is a good step for mobile connections. Just work often with an UMTS connection on the laptop.
hope the final can offer more participants soon. just would pay for any more.
