A week or so ago, the Acrobat User Community hosted an eSeminar on creating forms in Acrobat and FormsCentral. If you’ve been curious about the differences, or if you just want to see the features of both great forms services laid out side by side, go forth and watch the recording of the eSeminar! It lasts about an hour (a little less, really) and is packed with good information.
And, may I add, if you should have questions about what you see in the FormsCentral portion of the program, you can take part in tomorrow’s Twitterview! Have you tweeted your question yet? If not, it’s not too late: tweet a question with the hashtag #acroview and we’ll answer it tomorrow at 10AM (Pacific time) on the Acrobat handle (@Acrobat).

Currently we have an Access database. To obtain updates from users, we generate Excel workbooks (one per user) and manually lock cells we don’t want the user to be able to update. Is it possible to export data from Access to FormsCentral and have the locking of certain cells/fields occur automatically?
Hi Greg,
Currently there’s no way to import data into FormsCentral; you can only export data that you’ve collected from forms that you’ve distributed with FormsCentral. If this changes, we’ll post it here first, so stay tuned!
Thanks,
Rebecca
I have been fascinated with Acrobat and Adobe and just watched the latest tutorial on using templates that you can customize for your own pdf’s! I am really excited about this-am working on Doctorate in Healthcare and was trying to figure out how to see all the physicians in Birmingham, AL for an idea I have to improve their practice by hiring the right staff (I go undercover if physician agrees). This is the perfect way to see what type of feedback I get. Also will help for my dissertation! I have questions-the only problem is I need to try it first and then ask. Thank you so much- I am thrilled with the whole deal-just wish I knew more! I’ll just have to watch all tutorials and keep up! TweetTweet! Thanks again! Amanda Chicoine
