Oh my, have we ever got a platter full of treats for you! We’ve been cooking up a storm in the back kitchens at Adobe SendNow; here’s your first look at what’s on the table. We’ll go into more detail later on, but we just can’t wait to announce what’s on the menu!

Amuse-bouche: Audio/Video file support in SendNow

First out of the pot is a new feature that we’ve all been salivating over since SendNow first appeared last fall: support for audio and video files is here! Now you can upload and send your MP3, FLV and MP4 files (and many, many other file types). If you’ve got a sample clip to send a client for whom you’re cutting an ad, go ahead and send it with SendNow.

First course: BYOB (Bring your own brand)

So you send files to your customer from SendNow; it works perfectly, but how do they know it’s from your company? When they see your logo in the notification email, of course!  These are your files, and starting in June 2011, you can make the notifications yours as well. Basic and Plus subscribers will be able to apply their logos to notifications and the download page (at no extra charge!) so that the experience for the clients and customers will be seamless.

Second course: Start from your desktop

Sending files from a web browser, from Adobe Reader X, or Adobe Acrobat X has worked for you like cream works in coffee. But how about cutting out the fat and making things even easier? In Q3 of this year, we’ll be introducing the very first (and totally free) desktop application for SendNow so that you can send, track, and manage all of your SendNow files from your desktop. One really cool piece of this app? Drag an entire folder to the Send Files tab and every file in that folder will be uploaded. As you’ve come to expect from SendNow, it’s as easy as pie.

The icing on the cake: Just wait and see..

While you’re busy nibbling at the above-mentioned confections, you should know that we’re far from clearing the table; we’ve got a cake in the oven, getting ready to come out to your plates.
