We are excited to release the new Adobe CreatePDF application on Android today. With this new app, users can create high quality PDF documents that can be viewed consistently across organizational boundaries on multiple screens and platforms.

This application uses a service to create PDF documents and thus you get the same consistent, high quality PDF files as Adobe Acrobat independent of your device or the software used on the device.

Adobe CreatePDF is available on the Android Market for $9.99. Android device users can download it from here.

Key highlights of the CreatePDF for Android app are:

* Intuitive Interface for PDF Conversion – You can simply use the built-in file manager for quick access to all supported files stored on the device and convert them to PDF. You can also convert email attachments or files stored in the cloud by opening them from within the Adobe CreatePDF application.

* Organize, Share and Manage files easily – You can quickly access all supported files stored on the device and PDF files created by the application using the file manager. You can also share PDF files via other applications, including email attachments with one touch.

How does it work? Check out this video for an overview of the application

Supported File Formats include:

* MS Word , Excel, PowerPoint

* Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign

* Images – JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF, TIFF

* RTF, Text, WordPerfect and more

We look forward to hearing your thoughts. You can join the conversation here, on the Android Market and on the User Forums
