Adobe Acrobat XI SDK Now Available for Free Download for Windows & Mac OS
Acrobat
We are pleased to announce that the Adobe Acrobat XI SDK (Software Development Kit) for Windows and Mac OS is now available as a free download from the Acrobat Developer Center . The SDK is a set of tools and documentation that help developers automate, extend, integrate and interact with Acrobat and Adobe Reader software through JavaScript, AppleScript, plug-ins and Interapplication Communication. This overview is a great introduction to what the Acrobat SDK can do.

I want to try this new Version
The “overview” link leads to “Sorry, this page is not available” — probably needs to be fixed.
Hi Paul, thanks for catching that! We’ve fixed the link.
I use Mac 10.7.5 & Lexmark X264dn. I would like to scan pages of books I wrote long ago (no longer have digital record) and convert (by OCR, I think? into Word documents so I can edit them. Does ADOBE have software that does this (cost matters).
Thanks, Nolan Saltzman
