Well, just sit back relax and let your ol’ buddy Tim step you through the process.

Acrobat for AEC
Acorbat in the AEC and EPC Industry
Sorry, but, I get asked this question almost every day! How do I create a custom stamp in Acrobat 8 Professional or Acrobat 3D Version 8?
How do I add my user name and date like in the standard stamps in Acrobat, or better put, How do I create a custom dynamic stamp.
Well, that is the million dollar question today. I was recently at one of the largest EPC firms and that question came up in every group I talked to. I feel your pain, and understand, this is a feature that we need to add to Acrobat 8 Professional and Acrobat 3d version 8 (Hopefully we can get it spec’d for Acrobat 9).
Steps to adjust Acrobat Line Merge settings for PDF creation from AutoCAD
I've was recently reading on a few competitors web sites that Acrobat can not do Lines Merge and Lines Overwrite when publishing PDF from AutoCAD. Well this is false and we've put together step by step instructions on how this setting can be adjusted for PDF being created from AutoCAD using Acrobat 8 Professional, there is a link to a sample DWG file and the resulting variations in PDF output depending on what setting is chosen (Lines Merge or Lines Overwrite). This isn't currently documented as part of the Acrobat 8 Pro help files, so we're providing this a tip and trick for all of you out there, enjoy.
Read on for the instructions.

Local Adobe Forums focused on AEC – Where have you been?
Hey all, it’s me again, you know it’s funny, when I started at Adobe, we had just started building a team to support the AEC industry, we now have a full marketing team, product and project managers, sales and SE’s, many AEC flavored products (Acrobat 8 Professional, Acrobat 3D, Acrobat Connect, LiveCycle Policy Server, LiveCycle Workflow…), and then there’s little ol’ me. I have the best job of all. Acrobat for AEC-Read on for more!

Hello again, well, things have been going well, Acrobat 8 has launched and I'll be hitting the road soon to bring you the new cool features of Acrobat 8 Professional and Acrobat 8 3D. I was asked recently that someone needed to do some measuring to make a couple of changes, so in this edition I want to discuss a little known or less used feature for Acrobat for AEC: The Measuring Tools!
