Like everyone else I was getting Error message 1714 and have been going around in circles and tearing my hair out until seeing the posting from Marc on 7.3.08 referring to Maggie Hallinan's solution - it works !!! I am so happy - I now have Version 9 installed and working properly, including printing thanks to Windows install clean-up.
