9.1.2 and 8.1.6 Security Updates
Adobe Reader 9.1.2 and 8.1.6 Security Updates are now available (see Security Bulletin APSB09-07). These address a number of customer workflow issues and security vulnerabilities while providing more stability. These updates are available for both Linux and Solaris platforms.

- Reader 9.1 Crashes on Linux - The issue has been fixed.
- Issue when launching Reader as 'sudo' - Adobe Reader should not be launched as 'sudo' to avoid creating files in the home directory with root permissions. The fix prevents these cases by alerting the user with a message on the console.
- Reader Crashes while Printing - This issue has been fixed.
- X Server Freeze on Launching Reader - This issue has been fixed.
