Flex Learning Paths: A new way to learn (about) Flex
The Flex Developer Center has great content for beginners and experienced developers--BUT, we've been told, it's not always easy to find the info one needs to jump-start one's Flex skills or learn more about Flex. Well, we've listened and came up with a new concept of how you can access all of our content--and more--through our new Flex Learning Paths project.
In short, we provide you with a "clickable interface" that organizes Flex, Flash, and ActionScript related content into four paths: Designer/Web developer, Programmer, Architect, and Manager. Each path is made up of a short list of goals and a series of tasks (including exercises) that help you accomplish each goal.
We built the paths as an HTML version and as a Flex version, which is still in beta. Of course, this is just the beginning and we plan on adding more content (including exercises) to round out this goal- and task-oriented way of learning Flex.
Check it out and be sure to send everyone you know who is interested in learning about Flex to www.adobe.com/go/learnflex. And keep sending us feedback about how we're doing with this project--and what we should do to make learning Flex an even better experience for beginners and experienced developers/programmers alike.
