LiveCycle DS and 3rd party application webinar

This webinar will show off LiveCycle Data Services working inside a visualization/dashboard creation application from Business Objects/SAP.

Learn how Business Objects Xcelsius 2008 & Adobe’s LiveCycle Data Services (LCDS) integration unites real-time business events and data by harnessing the real-time messaging capability of LCDS to create event-driven, real-time dashboards and widgets. By leveraging Adobe’s LCDS functionality and infusing real-time business events and data with Business Object’s Xcelsius, it is now possible to create low latency, highly scalable, and data consistent dashboards and widgets capable of supporting operational decision scenarios such as monitoring of critical supply chain exceptions via desktop widgets or displaying real-time call center performance metrics on control center LCD panels.

Three things attendees will learn:

1. What is Xcelsius and what is the Xcelsius Connector for LCDS; what’s the value and how does it work
2. What is LCDS, and how does it work
3. How to build an Business Objects Xcelsius application that interfaces with real-time data feeds from LCDS

It features two new solution components, two new solution accelerators, and a number of other improvements. To help you get up to speed on this new release, we posted quite a few pieces of technical content on the LiveCycle Developer Center yesterday. You may want to start with Greg Wilson’s article “What’s new in LiveCycle ES Update 1” to understand the new services and tooling improvements. Other pieces include “Planning your upgrade to LiveCycle ES Update 1“, “LiveCycle ES infrastructure selection and deployment“, the updated LiveCycle ES architecture technical white paper, and the white paper “The benefits of rights management“.
