Adobe Celebrates White Cane Safety Day in China

Adobe has been committed to supporting physically disabled people in Beijing through social activities. Since 2007, Adobe has sponsored “China vocational skill contest for disabled people” and provides volunteer service during the contest. October 15 was the “White Cane Safety Day”, a date to celebrate achievements of blind and visually challenged people. It’s a day to encourage their independence and for society to show their support. CS4SF Visits Adobe!

On Friday, November 11, we were privileged to host a group of eager middle school girls from the Computer Science for San Francisco (CS4SF) program, their families, teacher assistants, and Computer Science professor EJ Jung from the University of San Francisco. CS4SF is designed to introduce young women, specifically middle school students, to the opportunities available to them in the field of computer science. Adobe Denmark Awarded Growth Comet of the Year

On September 28, Adobe Denmark received the award ”Growth Comet of the Year 2011” at the annual Top 100 conference for the Danish IT industry, hosted by Computerworld Denmark. The conference included a prestigious award ceremony acknowledging the best performing IT companies of the year. 250 IT companies participated in the study and the ranking was based on company performance and profits. Adobe was nominated for having tripled its revenue during the last three years and for having the highest growth rate in the Danish IT industry.
