Holly Campbell, our vice president of Corporate Communications, has been honored with the Tribute to Women (TWIN) Award, an annual distinction given to inspirational female executives and their companies by the Silicon Valley YWCA.
She was among local leaders from companies including Cisco, NVIDIA, Oracle, Lockheed Martin and Applied Materials, at last Thursday’s award dinner. Past TWIN Award recipients from Adobe include Gloria Chen, Donna Morris, Karen Cottle, Kristina Omari and Gloria Stinson. Evaluated solely on their professional accomplishments, nominees are voted on through a blind selection process by a committee of former TWIN honorees and prominent industry leaders.
“I’m honored to receive this award and to support the mission of this organization,” Holly said. “I think the YWCA does an incredible job of supporting underserved women in our community, and participation of companies like Adobe in this annual event helps to fund the great work they do all year.”
Holly joined Adobe in 2001. She has spent most of her career in marketing and communications at technology companies, including storage manufacturers Maxtor and Quantum. When asked how she has managed her career at Adobe, she says she “took on more and more responsibilities as they came along, and enthusiastically went for every career growth opportunity” that came her way.
“Do what you love, do a great job, and the rest will follow,” is the best career advice Holly says she has ever received. “When you’re focused, work hard, and treat other people the way you’d like to be treated, you will be rewarded and things will fall into place naturally.”
