Following the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami that devastated Japan, the Adobe Japan sales team wanted to help. They made the decision to donate part of their license revenue to support their community by donating two school buses for kindergarten students in areas devastated by the natural disaster. The buses will be used for children to commute safely outside the disaster area to play outdoors.
On Wednesday, August 8, two Adobe branded buses were donated to students in the Fukushima Prefecture, a devastated area where nuclear plants are located. Our CEO Shantanu Narayen, CFO Mark Garrett, Senior VP of Worldwide Sales Matt Thompson and President of Adobe Japan Craig Tegel, along with local community members, press and several Adobe Japan employees attended the Bus Donation Ceremony.
