Making a difference

Children are impressionable and full of hope. That’s exactly why a team of us from Adobe’s People Resources organization in Bangalore recently visited Sukrupa, a school for underprivileged children. Adobe has had a long-standing relationship with Sukrupa because we’re committed to partnering with them to assist deprived children and young adults with schooling and skills training to enable them to escape poverty, illiteracy, and ignorance. The team visited Sukrupa with a list of exciting activities in tow. These activities included dancing, singing, arts and crafts, a session around effective communication … Read more >

Adobe Rockstars

When graphic designers at Wired magazine sit down to create the next issue, they fire up Adobe InDesign and Adobe digital publishing software. When visual effects specialists begin work on major motion pictures such as The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, they launch Adobe Creative Suite Production Premium software. We’ve all come to expect the stunningly realistic visuals that these tools create in all the media that we consume. But we sometimes forget that even the tiniest product innovation started as the seed of an idea in someone’s mind, somewhere … Read more >

Leaders Teaching Leaders

Being a leader isn’t easy. Successes and stumbles are more visible and consequential, and there are fewer peers the higher you go. That’s why Adobe invests significant resources into helping our leaders—from managers to directors to executives—increase their understanding of themselves, the people they manage, and the organizations they lead. And we do it with a peer-led approach—what we call “leaders teaching leaders.” Peer facilitation marks an important change in the way Adobe approaches leadership training. We enlist our leaders to help develop Adobe’s next generation of leaders. By leveraging … Read more >
