From football to Photoshop tutorials and bicycle repairs, Adobe employees in Germany find creative ways to get involved with their communities year round. Here’s a snapshot of some of the many community efforts that Adobe employees look forward to.
The Adobe football team in Germany frequently participates in friendly matches against teenagers from a local social organization in support of community building and engagement.
For employees who prefer a more creative approach towards community involvement, Adobe hosted a group of more than 20 teenagers in its Hamburg office to give them an introduction to Adobe software. Adobe employees had the opportunity to teach these eager teenagers how to create their own magazine covers using Adobe Photoshop.
In Munich, Adobe employees are involved with a local youth organization where they offer career advisory sessions and even bicycle repair services.
When devastating floods hit big parts of Germany, employees organised two bake-offs days where they sold home-made cakes and raised more than $1,000.
