Donna Morris, Adobe’s senior vice president of People and Places, is coming home from Evanta’s Global HR Leadership Summit with a new distinction, a Top 10 Breakaway Leader.
The Top 10 Breakaway Leaders Award recognizes heads of Human Resources whose contributions have significantly shaped their organization. “Those honored are the top leaders in their field who are leveraging the human resources function to drive change within their organizations,” Evanta stated.
Donna was nominated by several of her HR peers in the industry for her courage in abandoning the traditional performance review process and implementing Check-in, organizational alignment to support Adobe’s business transformation, and reshaping how the People Resources function supports Adobe employees with the launch of the Employee Resource Center.
Donna received the award at a gala event in the company of her peers. The Awards Chair and Host, Liz Gottung, Senior Vice President & Chief HR Officer, Kimberly-Clark Corporation, read testimonials about Donna, including one from Adobe president & CEO Shantanu Narayen, and then presented her with the award.
“Donna Morris is exceptional in many ways, but one quality that sets her apart is her drive for innovation. During her time leading People Resources at Adobe, she’s challenged the status quo for the benefit of the company and our employees. Donna applies her business and organizational insights to ensure we have the right talent, strategy and alignment to accelerate our success,” said Shantanu.
The 2013 Top 10 Breakaway Leaders are determined by the combined votes of an elite judges panel, comprised of leading executives within the human resources community and noted academics.
Congratulations, Donna, on this well-deserved recognition!
