17 years on Fortune’s Best 100 Companies List

March 9, 2017

Adobe has once again landed a coveted spot on Fortune’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” list, which was announced today. This marks the 17th year that Adobe has made an appearance on the annual list, jumping 27 spots from No. 87 to No. 60!

Each year, Fortune begins its quest to recognize companies who strive to create exceptional environments for their employees. A portion of company scores are determined through an analysis of the Culture Audit, which includes information about compensation and benefit programs, hiring practices, recognition programs and diversity efforts that companies are required to submit in order to be considered. However, a majority of one’s score is earned based on feedback provided by employees who were randomly selected to complete the Trust Index Employee Survey that explores elements of overall job satisfaction.

There are countless reasons that we believe Adobe is a great place to work, all of which share a common thread – our employees! This award goes out to all of them, who make Adobe a great place to work day in and day out.

What Makes Adobe a Great Place to Work?

As part of the anonymous Trust Index Survey, our employees were asked what they believe makes Adobe a Great Place to Work. Here’s a sample of what they had to say:

  • “Adobe does so many things to make employees know they are valued; things like bring your child to work day, family movies on the lawn during summer time, great maternity/paternity benefits, etc. Adobe is the first place I have worked where I never even wanted to see what else is out there job-wise. Love this company!”
  • “Adobe is a great mix of a well-established company with a 30+ year history while maintaining a true entrepreneurial (start-up) spirit which drives growth and leadership in the industry. The culture is truly welcoming and encouraging for employees to strive in their career development goals.”
  • “One thing that makes Adobe unique is the focus on building up the community outside the office. We have site councils focused on corporate social responsibility, diversity, and STEM education, among others, that actively seek out and provide opportunities for our employees to volunteer during the workday or outside of work hours. I really value being at a company that is so community oriented.”
