Honoring Earth

Being green is something we strive to do on a daily basis at Adobe. In honor of Earth Day in April, we dedicated the entire month of April as “Be Green” month in key locations throughout the globe. From paper waste reduction campaigns to cleaning rivers and planting trees, Adobe employees were busy giving back to mother earth. Adobe’s director of corporate social responsibility (CSR), Michelle Yates, captured some key Adobe events in her recent blog post commemorating Earth Day. Here’s a brief summary of what we were up to in … Read more >

Preparing the Hearing-Impaired for Careers in IT

Finding a job these days is no small task.  But hearing impaired job-hunters have an even greater challenge, and that’s where Adobe Noida employees stepped in. The Noida Deaf Society (NDS), one of Adobe’s grantees, has been working towards enabling mainstream career opportunities for hearing impaired youth in the region.  Their efforts have helped change industry perspective on employing hearing impaired youth. However, there is still a gap between the relatively few opportunities available  and the number of employable youth.  Given the huge educational gap, teaching skills to hearing impaired … Read more >
