On Friday, November 11, we were privileged to host a group of eager middle school girls from the Computer Science for San Francisco (CS4SF) program, their families, teacher assistants, and Computer Science professor EJ Jung from the University of San Francisco. CS4SF is designed to introduce young women, specifically middle school students, to the opportunities available to them in the field of computer science. This program offers hands-on activities for students to learn programming, computer architecture, and networking.  A field trip to a high tech company in the Bay area is … Read more >

Adobe Volunteers Build a Playground

More than 125 Adobe volunteers gave 600 children a new, safe space to play in Menlo Park, California. Adobe volunteers were joined by their counterparts from SAP and other community volunteers to form a force of over 350 volunteers who built a safe place to play, designed by the children who will play there. “It was so much fun to work side by side with Adobe volunteers, members of the community and SAP. And it’s nice to know that the children are playing on the transformed Willow Oaks playground today and … Read more >

“Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent.” — Victor Hugo We stand in awe of the fact that music binds us in a beautiful manner; it creates emotion and has a language that transcends the realm of reality and speaks much more than words. As you enter the corporate world, it’s almost a given that hobbies like your love for playing music and performing, take a back seat due to work demands. Adobe San Francisco welcomes family and friends

Adobe employees work hard, but they also enjoy spending time together and meeting each other’s families. The recent Family Fun Night hosted in our San Francisco office is a good example. Inspired by a similar event in the Seattle office, the evening included great food, arcade games, and the main event, a Pinewood Derby. Over 60 cars were built by employees and their families, some meeting strict requirements for competitive racing and others preferring to show off their creative sides. “My two daughters were looking forward to it for the … Read more >
