New Adobe Digital Publishing Solution Now Available
Today, I’m really excited for two reasons: the all-new Adobe Digital Publishing Solution (DPS) is now officially available for you to create amazing mobile apps—and some of the amazing apps built with the new DPS are launching today by our customers and are available for download.
It’s been quite a year listening to your feedback, reimagining DPS from the ground up, and building a product that makes it easy for creative and design teams to create beautiful mobile apps without writing any code. We’ve built the new DPS around the concepts of engaging experiences and flexible publishing—allowing you to frequently engage your audiences with bite-sized article updates; to guide users through the app without writing code (using collections and browse pages); to create content from a variety of sources; and to use turnkey services like in-app messaging, push notifications, analytics, and social sharing to drive your business forward. We’ve also built the new DPS on an enterprise-grade platform that can support the most demanding of organizations—with a new permissions system that will help you get more work done faster with your internal teams, agencies, and freelancers.
During the last month over 4000 creatives participated in our beta program—a result that exceeded our already high expectations. As a result, some of the world’s best brands are launching apps on the new DPS—including Qantas, Swiss Airlines, University of North Carolina, National Theatre UK, AECOM, Top Gear, and Gather Journal. Teams from leading creative agencies like Mirum, Razorfish Health, Segal Savad, Blink Worldwide, DOCMINE, and Medium Rare Content provided great feedback during the beta and are experienced in building apps with the new solution. Technical partners like vjoon, Woodwing, Specle, Storied, DPCI, and Mercury have also built software solutions on top of the new DPS to solve important enterprise needs. Today, these customers and agencies will be showing their new DPS apps at an event in New York. Check out the apps in our new DPS Gallery and see how DPS helped move their mobile strategy forward.
To access the new solution, existing Digital Publishing Suite customers should look for a provisioning email shortly with instructions on how to login. If you haven’t experienced DPS yet, you can try it at no charge for 30 days to see for yourself the power and capabilities of the solution. We also have a team that’s ready to answer your questions about the new solution—please get in touch with us if we can help.
