Recently at Behance, we’ve been on a tear updating and optimizing some of our core features. Today we gave Joblist, our tool to provide the best opportunities in the creative job market from top companies across the globe, a fresh new look. One of the biggest features we’ve been trying to implement all across Behance has been a more mobile-friendly responsive design. This will help our users who are constantly on the go keep up to date with their Activity Feed, Profile, and, now, JobList. We’ve added better search tools to help you actually find that next opportunity and we’ve streamlined the application process so that you can apply to your next dream job with just a few clicks.
With the increasing popularity of smart phones and tablets, we’ve seen our mobile traffic expand tremendously. We want our mobile users to have a similar, if not better, experience in the palm of their hand, so responsive design has been key. Now, you’ll never miss the next big opporunity for your career — you’ll be able to have a clear view of all the jobs posted to Behance whether you’re working on your desktop at home or browsing on your phone during your morning commute.
Not sure what you’re looking for exactly and just want to search for a keyword? Go for it — type your seach query into Keywork Seach and you’ll see it appear as an Active Filter. The more you add, the more concentrated your search becomes. On the desktop version of JobList, you can easily add Location, Company, and Creative Field Filters to narrow your search even more!
When that next gig is staring you in the face, you can log into Behance and apply with a few clicks or taps. After reading the job description, click the blue Apply To This Job button and you’ll be prompted to enter your contact information and upload a resume from the same screen. (Note: from mobile devices, you can only attach your existing Work Experience saved on Behance) Once you apply, the job will be marked as such on your JobList.
We hope you love the new additions to Behance and be sure to stay tuned because we’ve got some big things happening!
