IE Only Allows Two Simultaneous Connections

I didn't know this, but according to IEBlog, Internet Explorer only allows two simultaneous connections to any single domain. I knew there was a limit, but I thought it was higher. Anyway, IEBlog tells why, and what you can do as a developer to get around it.

While downloading 2 files, you must wait to download a new file until one of current download is finished.

May be because of that ...

something to do with compliance with w3c standards and http 1.0 (I think). Theres a registry hack that gives more connections. Oh, sorry for not looking into the link, I'm just browsing.
