eLearning vs. Classroom- Green, More Effective

,

The cover story on the current edition of eLearning magazine features Silke’s article on going green with eLearning. Silke, the Adobe Captivate product marketing manager, speaks about how as eLearning professionals, we are uniquely positioned to reduce the carbon footprint
for our entire organization.

She makes an excellent case for how eLearning is inherently green… how by moving your course online, you instantly cut the biggest contributor to your carbon footprint- travel.

While we are making a case for how eLearning is a smarter alternative, it also provides a great opportunity to optimize your training budgets in today’s economy. This trend is catching on, and most of the eLearning content creation firms I’ve spoken to, have indicated a growth in business this quarter.
