Creating iPad apps using Rapid eLearning authoring tools

This video from Dustin has been gaining in popularity across our FB and Linked-in forums. I’m posting it here for the benefit of our blog readers.

Dustin shows not just how to use the HTML5 converter, but also how to convert this into an iPad app and test it using Adobe PhoneGap. Now to see if we can build all this into a seamless workflow for you in our upcoming versions J

Tip: Using the playbar to navigate seems out-of-place in HTML5 content. Here is a nice post that describes how you could hide your playbar.

If you are reading this, you might also be interested in the Captivate HTML5 contest. This is a great opportunity to showcase your skills in authoring HTML5 based eLearning content, and to win yourself one of three 32GB iPads! Even if you aren’t quite ready to create your own content, check out some of the great submissions thus far- to get an idea on what HTML5 based eLearning has to offer.
