Drag and Drop Interaction with Audio Feedback for Incorrect Responses

Incorrect feedbackI’m busy prepping for my concurrent session at Adobe Learning Summit on Monday, 21st October. During this session, I’ll be sharing some cool tips on how to use the drag and drop interaction in Adobe Captivate 7. And guess what… It’s becoming really difficult to wait until Monday to share all these amazing tips, so here’s one of them, just for you! :)

The changing face of Learning!

LearningFor years, the teachers were given the role of collector of information and disseminating that information through a sage-on-a-stage classroom. However, with the rapid increase in the reach of Internet, information is now freely and easily accessible. The classroom is no longer the single source of information, thought it remains a very important one.

Voice of the Student:

Students are clearly telling us educators, that the time in class should not be spent providing them information that they can easily get elsewhere. The class hours could be more effectively used by helping them in resolving the doubts that they encountered while consuming information elsewhere (typically online), evaluate and analyze alternate views that they have encountered and finally help them connect the dots of information in creating a better understanding of a concept (information to knowledge) – addressing loosely the analysis, evaluation, creation phases of Continue reading…

So as an eLearning developer, there are quite a few considerations when selecting tools for designing interactions. One of the most important factors is whether the interactions produced with that interactivity builder tool will integrate seamlessly with their course authoring tool. In this webinar, Joe will focus on how eLearning developers can use Raptivity interactions to augment their Captivate courses. He will also demonstrate how easy it is to seamlessly integrate Raptivity interactions with Captivate. You will also get to see some interesting example courses created using these tools and how one can leverage the capabilities of both these tools to create interactive and engaging courses rapidly without programming.

Topic: Moving from Knowledge Hoarding to Knowledge Sharing with Adobe Presenter Video Creator

Date and time: Wednesday, 17th July, 2013 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM US/Pacific

Description: There is a fundamental problem that exists in the typical business workplace today. Chances are that you or someone in your office is already painfully aware of it. We’ve seen an explosion in the number of people whose jobs are directly related to their expertise, and for whom ‘what they know’ has become a kind of ‘insurance’ plan.

Have you ever heard a colleague proclaim “If I’m the only one who knows how to do this, ‘they’ can never fire me.”

We’ve all heard similar comments and perhaps even nodded along, or said the words ourselves. But what is the actual cost of this kind of environment of knowledge hoarding. Research in fact suggests that it cuts much deeper than just the upfront issues with bottle necks and heavy retraining costs. The most serious costs of a knowledge hoarding culture are that the institution is stifled when it comes to innovation.

In this session Dr. Allen Partridge will share research on Knowledge sharing and demonstrate how Adobe Presenter Video creator can close the technology gap and facilitate a knowledge sharing culture in your organization.
