Here comes another Interactive Screen: Click-play Audio

Last week, I conducted a session on creating interactive screens using Adobe Captivate 5.5 where I showed the participants how to create a tabbed, click-reveal text, and click-play audio screen.

The demonstrations for tabbed and click-reveal text screen are already available here and for the benefit of blog readers, here’s how you can create a click-play audio screen. :)

In this example screen, notice that introduction audio plays when the screen loads. When you click any of the highlighted area, the audio clip related to it plays and the highlight box disappears indicating that you have already clicked that area. Continue reading…

Distributing Adobe Captivate Courses through LMS

We use various distribution channels to share content created using Adobe Captivate 5.5 depending on the type of audience. One such channel is Learning Management Systems. It is a powerful channel to track and report learner’s activity, but at times can be complex to work with, given a lot of choices available .

This demonstration showcases how to enable reporting and upload the courses to LMS. We have used cloud.scorm.com as an example LMS here.

eSeminar Now Available: Adding Interactivity to eLearning Courses with Adobe Captivate 5

Last week we conducted the fourth session in the Adobe Captivate Training series. The session was about Adding Interactivity to eLearning Courses with Adobe Captivate 5.

In this training session, we demonstrated how to add various interactive and noninteractive objects to eLearning course and the best practices of using these objects in Adobe Captivate projects. We did so by displaying a completed course to the attendees, where we had used most of the Adobe Captivate objects and then went on to create the course from scratch.
