You are no longer forced to use the 32-bit version of MS Office, just because you want to create PowerPoint based eLearning. The new 64-bit Presenter 8 now works with your 64-bit MS PowerPoint.
How do you find out if you have 32-bit or 64-bit of MS-Office? It’s very simple, open MS PowerPoint and go to File> ‘About Microsoft PowerPoint’> … it would show you if it is 32-bit or 64-bit.
Do remember, there are separate installers for 32-bit and 64-bit version of Adobe Presenter. So, when you are downloading the installer, make sure you select the correct one.
When recording a video using Adobe Presenter Video Creator, if you get an internal error or graphics driver error at the end of recording a video, opening a project, or publishing a project, it’s quite possible that the graphics driver for your computer/laptop is not up-to-date.
Follow these simple steps to check the graphics driver version and update it to the latest version:
Verify if the driver is up-to-date – Device Manager > Display Adapters > right-click on the adapter > Properties > Driver tab. Check ‘Driver Date’. Ideally, the driver should not be older than a couple months.
If you have an old driver, identify the make of the graphics card on your computer.
Download and install the latest drivers from the corresponding vendor (for example, Intel, AMD, nVidia).
If you still get the error messages, please follow these steps to email us the diagnostic report.
Today we released a new update for Adobe Presenter. Along with some bug fixes we have packed it with some exciting new enhancements and features for Video Creator.
