Guest users registered for events get a blank page while login to Adobe Connect

Problem Description:  Guest users registered for events get a blank page while login to Adobe Connect.

Environment: 

  • Adobe Connect  Hosted
  • All Adobe Connect versions

Workflow Steps:

  1. Guest user tries to reset their password from an Event Registration or Login page.
  2. The Adobe Connect password reset email directs them back to the Connect homepage to reset it.
  3. The user will inevitably attempt to log into the event from the homepage and get the blank screen.

Reason for behavior: Guest users invited through Adobe Connect Events are not intended to login to Adobe Connect as they are allowed to join events only.

Solution: Guest users are not intended to login to Connect and scope of the account is limited to the designated Event only.
