Adobe Continuing to Innovate on the Web

There’s never been a more exciting time to participate in all the innovation happening on the Web today. At Adobe, we are partnering with the community on several initiatives to improve and simplify working with HTML, CSS, SVG and JavaScript, making it more accessible and functional than ever before – and we invite you to join us on this journey and get involved.

To keep you informed on the HTML projects we’re working on, which events we will be attending and to find out how you can join us, we’ve launched a new website – Adobe & HTML. Here you will find several different sections including:

  • The Web Standards section focusing on projects to advance standards and implement features directly in WebKit, like CSS Regions or CSS Shaders. Here you can learn more about each feature, access custom builds and samples as well as be informed of new standards opportunities we’d like to tackle.
  • The Open Source section focusing on our active open source projects. Adobe is doing more open source work than ever before and leading or contributing to projects like Apache Cordova, (the foundation for PhoneGap), jQuery Mobile, WebKit and CreateJS. Here you’ll learn more about what we’re doing and how you can help on these projects.
  • The Tools & Services section focusing on making your day-to-day life on the web easier with tools and services. This section talks about what Adobe offers to help you design, produce, code, test and publish great content.

Check out the new site – we look forward to working with you to make the Web a better place!
