CTO Kevin Lynch Receives DEMO Lifetime Achievement Award
CTO Kevin Lynch was honored earlier this week with a lifetime achievement award at the DEMO conference in San Diego, California.
Over the past 13 years and 24 DEMO conferences, nearly 15,000 applications have launched on the DEMO stage. Thirteen DEMO alumni, including Kevin, were selected to receive the honor for their significant contributions to the advancement of technology.
Kevin’s “contributions to the state of the art of visual communications and web applications led a new generation of rich internet applications that unleashed the creativity of designers and developers alike and, in so doing, brought exciting capabilities to countless internet users,” said DEMO’s longtime executive producer Chris Shipley.
Other award recipients included: Marc Benioff, founder and chairman, Salesforce.com; Helen Greiner, CEO of Droid Works; Andy Rubin, vice president, engineering, Google; and Diane Greene, founder and former CEO of VMware.
