Adobe Rep Discusses Social Media and Government

Loni Stark, Adobe group manager for Government Solutions, was recently interviewed about social media and government agencies on Focus Washington TechView.

The video includes conversation on how social media has illustrated that government can interact with citizens in a more engaging way versus the traditional perception of “cold”, impersonal processes. Stark also discusses the opportunity for agencies to take lessons from social media and apply them to core services, such as benefits enrollment and delivery. In addition, the interview includes thoughts on related challenges, including ensuring proper policies and governance are in place, as well as appropriate security and privacy measures. Adobe Representative Discusses Obama Administration’s Open Government Directive
