The update for 32-bit Photoshop CC 2014 for Windows is broken on your server.
The download is ~63Mb in size (while it is ~250Mb for x64 version) and is reported as damaged.
Tried several times with the same result.
Please check this out.
Sounds like a download error. Are you still having this problem?
Hi,
Im a photographer.
I use Nikon D800 cameras with all the Adobe Software updated in Yosemite Mac OSX.
I cant get Adobe Camera Raw to work. I only get the message “Disk error” when I try to open Nikon NEF files from Bridge into Camera Raw. Same files work without a problem in Lightroom. But I prefer ACR and would like it to work. What can i do?
Regards
Felipe Morales.
I suspect a permissions issue. Try creating a new Admin user account and run Photoshop from the new user account to see if the problem goes away: http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/2012/07/photoshop-basic-troubleshooting-steps-to-fix-most-issues.html#Permissions
hi adobe,
thanks for the update, but… is there a way do downgrade back to a version before ?

Pen tool was slow after update. All ok after I restarted the system, Thank!!!
Photoshop is still shutting down on start up with this release for me. Lightroom works fine. I have a AMD Radeon HD 7570 card. I was hoping this update would fix it.
Is you video card driver up to date? Determine what video card you have and go *directly to the manufacturers website (nVidia or ATI/AMD)* and download the latest driver: http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/2012/07/photoshop-basic-troubleshooting-steps-to-fix-most-issues.html#UpdateDriver
Just doing Windows Update won’t give you the latest and greatest drivers. You must go directly to your card manufacturers website to check for driver updates.
Broke Welcome screen and Preferences lacked Do not show Welcome Screen. Menu Help>Welcom Screen produce and error pop-up error “The extension could not be loaded because it was not prpperly signed.
Hmm. I haven’t heard anyone else encounter this error. Do you have a forum thread where this is being discussed?
My photoshop now won’t let me resize or move objects easily. I have to select free transform any time I want to try and adjust an object whereas before i could just click and drag the corners of the boxes and then right click for options. Is there an easier and faster way with the new updates?
Sounds like you want “Show Transform Controls” selected in the Move tool’s options bar.
text engine in photoshop will not initalize. I tried trashing the CMaps & OSFonts suggested by support but did not make a difference. I am PC, Windows 7, 64 bit running PhotoShop CC 2014 just installed this morning.
Any suggestions?
Did you try these troubleshooting steps? http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/2012/07/photoshop-basic-troubleshooting-steps-to-fix-most-issues.html#Fonts
I have Photoshop CC and Lightroom. Every time I start the computer lately and CC logs in I am told there is an update for Photoshop and Bridge. i run the updates and they appear to install okay. I have installed the update three times already. Photoshop runs fine and if I check the version number it confirms 2014.2.2
I am running a Macbook Pro with Yosemite 10.10.1.
Any ideas
Try this solution: Updates repeatedly applied | CC: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/updates-repeatedly-applied-cc.html
Thanks Jeff, that fixed the problem. I signed out and back in again, (I should have thought of this myself).
When rotating 3d objects there position in space does not stay centered on grind is this an issue being worked on?
Post more details on your issue here: http://phtshp.us/report_a_problem I’ll need to have one of our 3D experts look into it.
Can I Exchange my win version oc CS4/6 for a mac version
Order an Adobe product platform swap or language swap http://adobe.ly/PlatformSwap
Hey, thanks for your quick reply. Can I do this request directly on my IMAC or shall I prepare it on a laptop?
What are the advantages to ues the PH cc?
Bo L
You use the website from any computer to request the swap.
The Creative Cloud Photography Plan ( https://creative.adobe.com/plans/offer/photoshop+lightroom ) includes Photoshop CC, Lightroom, Lightroom mobile, and get all the product updates/upgrades (e.g. Photoshop 2014, 2015, 2016, etc & Lightroom 6, LR7, LR8, LR9, etc) as part of your membership. The Creative Cloud license is a cross-platform license so you can install on Mac and Windows at the same time, which is a new feature with Creative Cloud.
Thanks Jeffrey! I just got my IMAC! I will do the swap first, then I will sign up for CC photo. plan. I appreciate your help.
Regards
Bo
Hey again! Some years ago I had the possibility to buy the Phcs4 on a student basis. I then upgraded to a cs6. Do I have to swap the sc4 also since the cs6 just is an upgrade? Regards Bo (Sweden)
No. Just the current version.
Hi,
We’ve recently signed up for Adobe CC but the initial download needs to be updated. We tried using the CC manager but be are unable to update our applications (no firewall etc. Tried EVERYTHING for the last three days). We were looking for direct download links, tried to get them but we still can’t access the update files – these links go to a Release page with just details about the release and not .dmg files.
Can you please help us?
Thanks
Hi Ken, It looks like you’re a Creative Cloud Team member. Updates are controlled by your Team IT/administrator. They control which updates are allowed. See “manage updates” section on this page: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/packager.html
Hi i just tried to download the creative cloud and it seemed to download just fine but when i open it it doesnt install
Does it give a specific error? If you need more help with installing the CC app, post more details here: https://forums.adobe.com/community/download_install_setup
Hi Adobe,
Can you tell me what is the size of the creative cloud desktop app on windows? It looks like it’s gonna take forever to download it!
It’s only about 30 MB.
I have CC2014 and haven’t been able to detect any updates either. Is it possible that my Modem Router could be blocking it?
It’s possible. Have you tried signing out and back in from the Creative Cloud app for your account changes to be updated? http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/sign-in-out-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html
If that doesn’t work, I suspect a firewall or bad host file might be blocking the software from talking with the activation server: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html#Troubleshoot%20connectivity%20issues
I have a Photoshop CS4 (and Update to CS6) I do not update the program to versions CS6. Messages – serial number is not the product. How can Set Update?
CS6 is a paid upgrade from CS4. Buy the CS6 upgrade here: http://www.adobe.com/products/catalog/cs6._sl_id-contentfilter_sl_catalog_sl_software_sl_creativesuite6.html?promoid=KFPRM
I don’t know why, but I can’t get 2014.2.2 version on a Mac running 10.8.5.
I’ve tried several uninstall-reinstall I get each time the same 2014.0.0 version.
Any idea to frce the update ?
In the CreativeCloud Desktop app, all the apps are “ticked uptodate”
I have the same issue with Illustrator 2014 too
Try the solutions here: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-application-recognizing-available.html I’ll have someone follow up to make sure you’re able to get the updates.
I’ve got a few hundred, possibly closer to a thousand, machines that I want to start updating CC2014 on, but I don’t want to download several gigabytes of files over the Internet and have each machine update individually. I’d prefer to download the updates and deploy them over the LAN.
Where can I download the updates?
Here’s the direct links: http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/2011/03/keeping-photoshop-up-to-date.html#notconnected
If you’re doing that many machines, you should really look at the Creative Cloud packager and some sort of deployment solution: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/packager.html
