As part of the Creative Cloud, we offer discount pricing for our education-oriented customers – anyone who is currently a faculty member, student, or administrator at an accredited school or university. Like all our other memberships, students and teachers get access to every Adobe Creative Suite 6 desktop application, hosted services like Typekit or Business Catalyst, as well as new applications as they are released (like Adobe Lightroom 4 which we just released at the end of June).
We are excited to have just rolled out some improvements to make it even easier to signup and purchase for educators and students. We’ve clarified eligibility requirements and simplified the validation process upon signup. The new validation process now makes it very simple to enter in your school information, indicate whether you’re a student or faculty or staff member, your area of instruction, and graduation date. Will Adobe Captivate be included in the Cloud. I use all of the Master Suite products to produce e-Learning with Captivate and i would be more inclined to purchase the Cloud if it met the Learning Development community. Thanks

Thanks for your feedback. It is always tricky to talk about the road-map for the Creative Cloud but we will take your suggestion into consideration for future releases. If you need access to the latest version of Captivate, it is currently available as a subscription edition product on the Adobe store.

Regarding the student/teacher pricing, is it $29.95 just for the first year, or past that as well?
Regarding the upgrade price of $29.95 my understanding was that that ended in August. Or is it still available?

The $29.99 pricing is applicable as long as you are a Student, Faculty or Staff. If you are a Student, Faulty or Staff after the first year, we will continue to charge $29.99/month for your membership.
The offer for existing CS3 and above customers is still available.

Hi! I am a homeschool mom and I also teach at a homeschool co-op. I’m currently teaching Photoshop at the co-op and I was wondering how many computers, besides my own I could put Photoshop on as a teacher? I have a Creative Cloud membership for students and educators. Many of my students do not have Photoshop and would be unable to get it for themselves.

Hi,
You can install Photoshop on your primary computer and one backup computer, as long as they are not running at the same time. You will have access to both the Mac OS and Windows versions, so if you have a Mac in one location and a PC at another, for instance, you can install your applications on both.
