Introduction to Adobe Photoshop CC, LIVE on Twitch with Terry White

Join us on the Adobe channel, LIVE on Twitch, as Adobe Evangelist Terry White will cover the basics of Adobe Photoshop CC for photo editing. Each episode of this stream will start with a particular set of functions/tools and, session after session, you will continue to learn about Photoshop and and the infinite possibilities this application has to offer. There will be “homework” assignments along the way where you’ll be assigned an image to edit in a certain way, and then share your results.

Terry will be streaming live on Twitch from 8 to 9AM (Pacific Time) every Tuesday and Friday. Use this online time zone converter to find the right times for your location.

    Can’t wait!!!!!!

Ah, but 8-9 a.m. Pacific is 10-11 Central. That’s my best working hour. I’d rather relax with Terry White in the evening. Adobe might post details about how we can do that. I went to the Twitch link, and it repeatedly stresses being “live.” Some of us would benefit from a “dead” link.

I hear you Michael. But the benefit of the sessions being live is that participants can ask questions and interact with Terry, righ there and then, in the chat. You could watch the highlights after the sessions, but, like I said, you’d miss out the interaction. Thanks for reaching out.

  • By Clancy - 2:20 PM on March 18, 2016

    Will it be recorded? Thanks!

    • By Rufus Deuchler - 2:26 PM on March 18, 2016

Hi there Clancy! The benefit of the sessions being live is that participants can ask questions and interact with Terry, righ there and then, in the chat. You could watch the highlights after the sessions, but, like I said, you’d miss out the interaction. Thanks for reaching out.

  • By Norman Austin - 7:39 PM on March 18, 2016

Again, bad timing, I need to view this later. How do we view it afterwards?

    • By Rufus Deuchler - 9:56 AM on March 19, 2016

Hi Norman. I am sorry this won’t work for you. We’ve tried to time it so that as many time zones can watch it. What would your ideal time be?

  • By KH - 3:27 AM on March 19, 2016

How do you log-in to hear these events. Do I have to first subscribe to a membership? If so what is the cost? TY

    • By Rufus Deuchler - 9:55 AM on March 19, 2016

Hi KH! These are completely free for you to learn from. There is no cost for logging into Twitch. The benefit of being logged in, is that you can participate in the conversation live in the chat pod. Otherwise you can also just watch without logging in. Let us know.

  • By Michael W. Perry - 10:24 AM on March 20, 2016

Yes, interaction can add to an event, even one by someone who is as marvelous a teacher as Terry White. But most of those watching won’t contribute questions or comments. What’s the difference between them and those of us who cannot take time out of our prime working hours?

Come on. This isn’t early 1950s television, which was limited to primitive Kinescope recording. Recording it’ll be easy. Posting isn’t hard either.

Please don’t let all the hard work Terry White will put into this training go to waste.

Thanks for your feedback Michael. There are many ways we communicate with our users, and this is one of them. Feel free to watch the reruns that are automatically published after the streams https://www.twitch.tv/adobe/profile

  • By Doug Pizac - 2:59 PM on March 20, 2016

There is a discrepancy in the time slot for the events. On this description page it says they will be held 8-9a — a one-hour presentation. But on the twitch.tv/adobe page that has the schedules for all events it says Terry’s show will be held 7-9a — a two-hour presentation. What is the correct start/end time? 7-9a or 8-9a pacific?

    • By Rufus Deuchler - 4:02 AM on March 21, 2016

Thanks for catching this Doug, technically it’s correct, but niot very clear. I’ll ask for it to be fixed. Here’s the schedule:
7am-8am Photography & Design with TerryLWhite
8am-9am NEW: Intro to Photoshop CC with TerryLWhite

I just become aware of this event and realized I’ve already missed half of them. Are the sessions for this course being recorded? If yes, please let me know how to access them so I can review the sessions I’ve missed.

    Thank you very much.
