Over the last year, we’ve been working hard to improve the experience of installing and updating Adobe applications. While we’ve made good progress, we also realize that a Creative Cloud membership comes with lots of apps, and new versions are coming out frequently. We thought we could do better in how we manage all those updates. So, the team building our Adobe Application Manager has been working hard to address some of your concerns. We’re happy to announce today that a new version of the Adobe Application Manager is available, equipped with an updater! This means its easier to discover, download and install updates for your favorite Adobe applications.
From the updater, we’ll notify you which new updates are available and let you know which installed products are up-to-date. You’ll see a new “Updates” tab that consolidates all the updates, and you can choose to install all of them at once or one-by-one. We hope this makes it simpler for you to stay current with the latest features and bug fixes as we release them in Creative Cloud.
To get the new version, just launch the Adobe Applications Manager and it will self-update. Alternatively, you can download the latest copy here.
