Welcome to DAV’s Tech Table. The idea behind this blog is to share some of my experiences with new hardware and software working with Adobe Digital Audio, Video and Imaging applications. I tend to look for various hardware and software add-ons, which help solve key Adobe workflow issues. Many of these issues or questions come up at our seminar events or various tradeshows and Panel discussions. I have worked with many of these hardware and software companies over the past 10 -15 years and often find some great workflow tips and techniques and thought it was time to start writing them down.
My current Job title is Senior Business Development Manager for Video and Imaging Products. I have worked for Adobe Systems,Inc, for nearly twelve years. Prior to coming to Adobe Systems, I worked for Radius, Inc.Radius made graphics video hardware products for Adobe Software. Products like VideoVision, Thunder Graphics cards and Pivot displays. Like Adobe, Radius, Inc. was an amazing playground with a huge talent pool. Many key former Radius people have gone on to change the industry and many any are still at Adobe today. I've been using Premiere and Photoshop since rev 1.0 and I am completely amazed at what our engineers and product managers dream up for each release.
