Well, hope­fully you’ve seen our new opti­miza­tion solu­tions by now — if not, you should def­i­nitely take a moment and check them out. They have been a major focus of mine these past sev­eral months (hence the lim­ited blog posts) and now that we’ve launched them, I’m excited to get back into the swing of things!

To that end, I’ll be par­tic­i­pat­ing in two upcom­ing indus­try events and wanted to give you all the heads up.

First is the Shop​.org Annual Sum­mit in New York. The con­fer­ence runs from Octo­ber 10-12th, and I’ll be speak­ing on a panel on Octo­ber 11th at 1:45pm. The panel is titled, “What Num­bers Multi-Channel Retail­ers Look at on Mon­day Morn­ings”. It should be great — I’m co-presenting with one of our cus­tomers, Dis­cov­ery Com­mu­ni­ca­tions, and sev­eral other indus­try lumi­nar­ies. Also, if you’re newer to eCom­merce, I’ll also be lead­ing two round­ta­bles that offer a great forum for Q&A and best prac­tices. I’ll be joined by one of our bright­est retail cus­tomers, Christal Con­don from Home Decor Prod­ucts so be sure to stop by if you can.

Sec­ond is the eMet­rics Sum­mit in Wash­ing­ton. This con­fer­ence runs from Octo­ber 16-18th. I’ll be pre­sent­ing the cus­tomer keynote on Octo­ber 17th at 10am. My pre­sen­ta­tion is titled “Online Mar­ket­ing Opti­miza­tion: How to Take Action on Your Mar­ket­ing Met­rics” but I’m keep­ing the actual con­tents a bit of sur­prise — so if you have the chance to attend, I promise you won’t be dis­ap­pointed! :)
