More than 300 part­ners from across Europe (and other con­ti­nents) packed our Part­ner Brief­ing last week dur­ing Adobe Sum­mit, The Dig­i­tal Mar­ket­ing Con­fer­ence, in Lon­don to hear the lat­est from Adobe’s part­ner team.  Just like in the U.S., this exclu­sive half-day event helped kick off Adobe Sum­mit EMEA, afford­ing part­ners the oppor­tu­nity to hear straight from Adobe exec­u­tives, the day before Sum­mit, about our deep com­mit­ment to our part­ner community.

Brad Rencher, senior vice pres­i­dent and gen­eral man­ager, Dig­i­tal Mar­ket­ing Busi­ness at Adobe, set the tone dis­cussing “Adobe’s Advan­tage,” fol­lowed by John Mel­lor, vice pres­i­dent Strat­egy and & Busi­ness Devel­op­ment, who gave a deep dive on Adobe Mar­ket­ing Cloud and over­all strat­egy. David Nuescheler, vice pres­i­dent Enter­prise Tech­nol­ogy at Adobe, “wowed” the audi­ence with a demo of Adobe Mar­ket­ing Cloud – show­ing how fast and easy it is to deliver per­son­al­ized expe­ri­ences across chan­nels and devices.

The line-up of great con­tent con­tin­ued with guest speaker Daniele Fian­daca (@yellif), Head of Inno­va­tion for Cheil UK and co-founder of Cre­ative Social, who talked about the ‘new’ role of Inno­va­tion with agen­cies. Daniele addressed how agen­cies today must find NEW and bet­ter ways to solve their clients’ prob­lems and open up new opportunities.

Adobe Part­ner Brief­ing also fea­tured a lively dis­cus­sion from our dis­tin­guished panel of part­ners around “Mar­keters vs. Agen­cies.”  Abbey Klaassen, Edi­tor at Adver­tis­ing Age mod­er­ated the panel, which included: Dan Bar­ni­cle, vice pres­i­dent, Head of Com­merce and Con­tent at Sapi­ent­Ni­tro, Stephan Beringer, CEO Inter­na­tional, Razorfish-DigitasLBi,  Ana­toly Royt­man, Man­ag­ing Direc­tor, Accen­ture Inter­ac­tive; Roys­ton Sea­ward, Part­ner, Deloitte Dig­i­tal, and Jacques van Niek­erk, CEO, Accel­er­a­tion.

After the panel, the focus shifted to oppor­tu­ni­ties for part­ners. Bill Rusitzky, global vice pres­i­dent of Strate­gic Alliances at Adobe, led the dis­cus­sion and high­lighted resources avail­able for part­ners today and how they can make money work­ing with Adobe. Then part­ners got a deep dive into Adobe Mar­ket­ing Cloud solu­tions from the respec­tive prod­uct managers.

The day ended with Mark Zablan, vice pres­i­dent of EMEA at Adobe, set­ting the stage for Sum­mit and what part­ners could expect to see over the next two days.  In addi­tion, Mark and Bill handed out the fol­low­ing awards to some very deserv­ing part­ners. This year’s part­ner award recip­i­ents were:

The award reflects how well Accen­ture and Adobe col­lab­o­rate around the com­mon ambi­tion to help global brands drive higher per­for­mance as they aim for even greater con­sumer rel­e­vance.  We are happy to be rec­og­nized by Adobe for accom­plish­ing this goal.”

Man­ag­ing direc­tor and co-founder of pro!vision, Karim Khan, shared his thoughts: “Every busi­ness today has to move into the dig­i­tal space.
