More than 300 partners from across Europe (and other continents) packed our Partner Briefing last week during Adobe Summit, The Digital Marketing Conference, in London to hear the latest from Adobe’s partner team. Just like in the U.S., this exclusive half-day event helped kick off Adobe Summit EMEA, affording partners the opportunity to hear straight from Adobe executives, the day before Summit, about our deep commitment to our partner community.
Brad Rencher, senior vice president and general manager, Digital Marketing Business at Adobe, set the tone discussing “Adobe’s Advantage,” followed by John Mellor, vice president Strategy and & Business Development, who gave a deep dive on Adobe Marketing Cloud and overall strategy. David Nuescheler, vice president Enterprise Technology at Adobe, “wowed” the audience with a demo of Adobe Marketing Cloud – showing how fast and easy it is to deliver personalized experiences across channels and devices.
The line-up of great content continued with guest speaker Daniele Fiandaca (@yellif), Head of Innovation for Cheil UK and co-founder of Creative Social, who talked about the ‘new’ role of Innovation with agencies. Daniele addressed how agencies today must find NEW and better ways to solve their clients’ problems and open up new opportunities.
Adobe Partner Briefing also featured a lively discussion from our distinguished panel of partners around “Marketers vs. Agencies.” Abbey Klaassen, Editor at Advertising Age moderated the panel, which included: Dan Barnicle, vice president, Head of Commerce and Content at SapientNitro, Stephan Beringer, CEO International, Razorfish-DigitasLBi, Anatoly Roytman, Managing Director, Accenture Interactive; Royston Seaward, Partner, Deloitte Digital, and Jacques van Niekerk, CEO, Acceleration.
After the panel, the focus shifted to opportunities for partners. Bill Rusitzky, global vice president of Strategic Alliances at Adobe, led the discussion and highlighted resources available for partners today and how they can make money working with Adobe. Then partners got a deep dive into Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions from the respective product managers.
The day ended with Mark Zablan, vice president of EMEA at Adobe, setting the stage for Summit and what partners could expect to see over the next two days. In addition, Mark and Bill handed out the following awards to some very deserving partners. This year’s partner award recipients were:
- Acceleration – Adobe European Analytics Partner of the Year
- Accenture Interactive — Adobe European Digital Marketing Partner of the Year
- Pro!vision – Adobe European Experience Partner of the Year
Anatoly Roytman, Managing Director, Accenture Interactive, EMEA had these comments, “Accenture is extremely proud to be named Adobe European Digital Marketing Partner of the Year for 2012.
