Hav­ing been in the online adver­tis­ing space for eek…15 years now, it is a famil­iar tune.  But this year, I have to admit, I just get the feel­ing that it truly is a moment to reflect on.  Typ­i­cally adver­tis­ing doesn’t do well in eco­nomic down­turns and the growth rates quoted by the IAB are impres­sive.  I was par­tic­u­larly drawn to the state­ment made by PriceWaterhouseCoopers:

Fuel­ing this growth is the abil­ity of adver­tis­ers to cor­re­late per­for­mance and results with the dol­lars they are investing.”

Look­ing at the exist­ing and emerg­ing solu­tions that Adobe is bring­ing to mar­ket via the Online Mar­ket­ing Suite to enable rev­o­lu­tion­ary adver­tis­ing solu­tions speaks vol­umes about the impor­tance this mar­ket has now and in the future.  It does appear that tech­no­log­i­cal capa­bil­i­ties to mea­sure, dis­cover, enable and action are no longer the hold up.  Per­haps now the only thing hold­ing online adver­tis­ing back is the need for adver­tiser struc­tural and orga­ni­za­tional change.  So if you’re a busi­ness or online ana­lyst, now would be a great time to intro­duce your­self to the adver­tis­ing depart­ment.  Pedal to the metal.

    I agree with you, actu­ally I am too run­ning my adword-ppc account for my travel web­site, at last year i was find much less click for that key­word in com­par­i­son to this year, accord­ing to the Inter­ac­tive Adver­tis­ing Bureau (IAB) in 2011 first half online mar­ket­ing efforts rose 23.2% to a record $14.9 bil­lion, which is great news for me, which is I always appre­ci­ate these effort to make online mar­ket­ing more upgrade and updated form.

    I IAB report shows increas­ing of rev­enue in sec­ond quar­ter which is increas­ing 24.1% to $7.7 bil­lion this much remark­able and valu­able effect in Inter­net mar­ket­ing, now I am able to increase cam­paign and add group at my account for dif­fer­ent search engine and affil­i­ate website.

    In first-half 2011 ad rev­enue comes from display-related adver­tis­ing, such as ban­ners, rich media, video and spon­sor­ships, per the IAB and PwC which is increase about $5.5 bil­lion in rev­enue in the first half 2011 increased 27.1% over the same period in 2010 that’s great and help­ful for those who want make analy­sis report for their orga­ni­za­tion and company.
