Yes­ter­day, we hosted a Twit­ter Chat to dis­cuss the find­ings of our lat­est study,Dig­i­tal Dis­tress: What Keeps Mar­keters Up At Night. A kind of “mar­ket­ing ther­apy ses­sion”, we joined with mar­keters and a few indus­try ana­lysts includ­ing @MWardley, @MiniCooper, @RWang0 and @LauraRamos dis­cussing the results.

We cov­ered a lot of ground. From why most mar­keters don’t feel pro­fi­cient in dig­i­tal, to the influ­ence, or lack of, they feel they have on busi­ness strat­egy. At one point, we ended up tak­ing the “ther­apy” to a whole new level as some par­tic­i­pants shared their mar­ket­ing his­tory as kid entre­pre­neurs sell­ing painted rocks, bar­rettes, and friend­ship bracelets.

I want to that thank every­one who par­tic­i­pated. It was a lot of fun.
