I heard some vari­a­tion of this every time I told peo­ple I was leav­ing the ad agency life for Omni­ture. The truth is Omniture’s Search­Cen­ter prod­uct has one of the most com­pelling approaches to search engine mar­ket­ing on the mar­ket and I’m excited to be a part of it. Over time, this blog will high­light some of the more inter­est­ing approaches to search engine mar­ket­ing and how Omni­ture is help­ing to advance and enable those approaches.

At the upcom­ing Search Engine Strate­gies con­fer­ence in San Jose, CA from August 18–21, Omni­ture will begin telling the “big pic­ture” story of Omni­ture Search­Cen­ter and our unique, inte­grated approach to SEM & SEO. Through­out the exhi­bi­tion, search mar­keters and atten­dees can gain insights and indus­try best prac­tices through a num­ber of keynotes, work­shops, and break­out ses­sions fea­tur­ing search mar­ket­ing experts from Omni­ture and its part­ners. In addi­tion, dur­ing the exhi­bi­tion, atten­dees can visit the Omni­ture booth (#303) to reg­is­ter for Omniture’s Smart Car give­away at the end of the show.

Through­out the show Omniture’s search engine mar­ket­ing experts will be post­ing Omniture’s take on the key issues being dis­cussed at the con­fer­ence. We’re excited to begin voic­ing our thoughts, ideas, approaches and best prac­tices at the upcom­ing SES con­fer­ence and we encour­age you to come back to this blog through­out the show.
