  1. Well, it seams so easy, but you forget to say that Flex Builder WS client generator doesn’t support any other Stack than Axis ! Unfortunatly, the Java market is dropping Axis for the JAX-WS, the JEE stack for WS.

So if you know about Java, and you want to be at the state-of-art, you can’t use Flex with SOAP over your JEE application.

On this subject, there’s an open bug in your bugtracker, and someone from Adobe answered that this will be fixed in Gumbo, but I tested the lattest release and the bug is still there.

BTW, it ain’t working with .NET either…

I guess you prefer customers for LCDS rather than people making interoperable applications (i.e. possible migration to other RIA technologies easily)

For the next time you’ll do a presentation of SOAP, donc get a XML but a business object. If the point is getting an XML, SOAP is not necessary. So you don’t show a real use of SOAP.

  2. The video is so good. You have explained everything in great detail which is so great. The technology in this area is getting so good and Adobe is dominating it. Keep up the good work.
