HTC Desire was one of the Android smartphones that began receiving the Android 2.2 and Flash Player 10.1 update over the air in early August. Here is a new video of Flash Player 10.1 demo by Diana Helander at Adobe previewing the full web experience on HTC Desire. 1. Oh! I forgot to mention that my battery life is dead after 15 minutes of using it, and my phone eventually became unusably slow.

But hey, we have flash on the phone! That’s really, what’s important after all, isn’t it?

please just test it yourself before repeating what was brought up by Steve J. mainly out of business reasons.

Running games and videos will be hard on the battery on any device, not matter what technology is being used. But *if* the flash player is noticably slower and drains battery faster – *then* people will quickly abandon it anyway. Uninstalling is always just a click away.

  3. All that’s lacking is the ability to move it to the SD card, as it’s a large file and eats at the small(ish) 168Mb on the phone. It would be excellent if Adobe gave the ability to move it without me having to unlock the phone and “reclaim the root”!
