Update: The guys over at WURFL pointed out that there is a full_flash_support property that you can check to see if the device supports more than Flash Lite. Also the standard WURFL API can utilize various PHP caching mechanisms to make it much faster. I personally prefer the MySQL features and built-in caching of Tera-WURFL though.
I just uploaded a new tutorial that explains how to find out a mobile device’s capabilities at runtime using the Tera-WURFL API. When building a mobile website it is important to know these capabilities so that you can redirect or adapt the content of your site to suit a particular device.
