All-New Adobe Social Now Supports Flickr, Foursquare, Instagram and LinkedIn and Adds Powerful New Predictive Publishing Capability

Today, with the Adobe Digital Marketing Forum in Singapore as a backdrop, Adobe announced an all-new Adobe Social, which now features integration with Flickr, Foursquare, Instagram and LinkedIn, in addition to social predictive publishing capabilities, a mobile user interface, streamlined reporting, and new collaborative features. The new integrations complement already existing integrations with Facebook, Google+, Reddit, Tumblr, Twitter, YouTube and many more, all aimed at providing social marketers with comprehensive insights into social conversations, consumer behavior and real-time trends…insights which, in turn, can inform the development of compelling content and the creation of better digital experiences, while helping to nurture relationships with customers and prospects.

Two weeks ago, we announced the final countdown to the general release of the all new Adobe Social! With only one week to go—that’s right, one week—I’m going to continue the discussion of platform-wide enhancements. Here, we’ll focus on expanded social network support—meaning the new social platforms we’ve integrated into Adobe Social to provide customers more comprehensive listening, engagement, and analytics tools. Keep in mind this is just the beginning of our expansion, as this is huge area of focus throughout 2013 and beyond; expect more social platforms to join the Adobe Social family soon!

Forrester Names Adobe Social A Strong Performer Among Top Social Relationship Platforms

Forrester Research recently published “The Forrester Wave™: Social Relationship Platforms (SRP), Q2 2013”. Adobe Social was one of just eight vendors selected for evaluation, and received a Strong Performer ranking for version 2.1 of its platform, released in Q4 2012. Across Forrester’s four categories (Risky Bets, Contenders, Strong Performers, and Leaders), Strong Performer was the highest designation given in this evaluation.

You May Have a Social Listening Problem.

At least, this is what my spouse will tell me frequently.  However, I would argue that this statement is false, and that my condition is more of a listening problem.  The Merriam-Webster definition of the two words shows a clear difference:

To Hear:  To perceive or apprehend by the ear

To Listen:  To hear something with thoughtful attention : give consideration

Adobe Social Q&A with Warner Music Group’s Carmen Sutter
