Adobe recently launched the Digital Publishing Suite Developer Center (http://www.adobe.com/devnet/digitalpublishingsuite.html), which has a wealth of content to help you make the most of DPS’s advanced capabilities. Nick is now announcing that “Select fonts from Adobe Type Library are now available for use in DPS at no additional license cost.” This is exciting news – publishers can embed these fonts as live text in DPS apps, resulting in clear & crisp text on retina devices like the new iPad, with smaller file sizes using PDF or HTML as the folio format!
