We’ve been hearing from some users that their computers (running Windows XP) are shutting down or restarting when they try to start Dreamweaver CS5.5. Some users are also seeing a blue or black error screen prior to the shut down or restart.

I have been experiencing a system failure when opening Dreamweaver in Windows XP. When I open the program it starts to load for a few seconds then it diverts to a blue screen. Here is the message that is shown on the blue screen.
STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error. The windows subsystem system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of Ox c0000005 (0x 7c9106c3 0x0069ed04) The system has been shut down.
Why is this error occuring?
I have having the same problem. I have been able to run the trail version on my 32bit laptop, but I have the same issue reported by Alex above. My 64bit AMD crashes and gives that statement as well as that it is dumping memory. I performed 6 re-installs to no avail. Please advise.
