Day four at #SXSWi proved to be another one for the books for Adobe EchoSign, no surprise there! With more Me Agreements completed and many more conference attendees learning about the ease and convenience of e-signatures, EchoSign continued to be a hit with the interactive crowd.
The day started with the EchoSign team hitting the streets with the EchoBot for more pictures, robot meet and greets and Me Agreement e-signing. Once again, the conference crowd couldn’t have been more excited to meet with EchoBot, who charmed everyone from tech geniuses to little children. While out and about the EchoSign team was able to interact with some of the top tech influencers attending SXSWi. These influencers were enthusiastic about EchoSign and e-signatures, and enjoyed their chance to demo the program by filling out and sharing Me Agreements. The simplicity of Adobe EchoSign, as well as the convenience of the functionality were some of the most noted features among those who had the chance to run through the demo, and many were very surprised by all the extra features and benefits of the software.
After dominating the streets of Austin for a few hours, the EchoBot was invited to be the guest of honor at the #ChooseHarder party thrown by @HARDER and @TheOnion. The party was thrown at famous Austin venue, Mohawk, and featured an amazing performance by The Hold Steady. The EchoBot had a chance to jam out to the band and interact with many more tech and music influencers. The crowd was great and after watching the band, party-goers were ready to boogey down with EchoBot and talk e-signatures with the EchoSign team.
As the sun set on another gorgeous day, Austin buildings lit up with mobile billboards. Each billboard prompted conference attendees to find the Echobot around Austin for prizes and encouraged people to learn what EchoSign is all about. The night wrapped up with the Adobe VIP party back at the #UseMeLeaveMe digital campground. An incredible performance by Aloe Blacc allowed the EchoSign team to once again enjoy some great live music. Campground festivities didn’t just include the amazing live performance though, our team also got to try out the video grams, grab some grub from the food trucks and even run through some Me Agreement demos with other party attendees.
All in all day four was another home run. The team is bringing it home with one last day on the streets of Austin to wrap up SXSWi today, and we plan to leave it all out on the field!
To start the day off, we hopped on a couple of awesome pub-crawlers to show people around the city how easy it is to #signanywhere – even from a 12-person bike! To join in on the fun people were asked to sign a quick waiver using EchoSign, which gave them a first-hand look at how easy it is to sign documents on the go. The pub-crawlers were a huge hit and we think people were just as amused digitally signing a document as they were drinking beer while peddling through the streets of Austin.
It was also a big day for the Echobot. He scored a couple interviews walking the streets of Austin from news outlets covering SXSW. The Onion even had a little fun with him asking if he would be willing to reveal his Google history. The reporter must have liked what he saw because he and Echobot were dancing within minutes! No matter what age, people found Echobot so intriguing they couldn’t help but ask what EchoSign was all about. Everyone we met left more knowledgeable about the ease of e-signing after completing their personal Me Agreements designed specifically for SXSW attendees.
To end the day, people enjoyed delicious pizza served from food trucks at the Digital Campground and beer flowed like water. People were able to socialize and play bags while listening to the bands rocking out on stage. It was the perfect opportunity to exchange business cards and get to know others at the campground.
Although rainy, day two was a blast. We’re excited to get back out and do it all over again tomorrow.
EchoSign’s first day at SXSWi in Austin will be tough to top! There were robots, tech gadgets, and of course lots of e-signatures! With the Adobe Echobot at our side, people flocked to EchoSign’s airstream at the #UseMeLeaveMe Digital Campground to learn more about the number one e-signature solution.
Here are a few highlights we want to share from the first day that we know people will be talking about in the days to come!
To start the day off, Adobe EchoSign took part in launching the Razorfish/Adobe Digital Campground. Hundreds of people flocked to the campsite at Walsh and Fourth to visit the different airstreams and enjoy some music and food. The Adobe EchoBot made people fall in love with him by showing off his dancing skills, taking pictures, and having conversations in countless foreign languages. Ultimately though, he was able to show people how easy it is to #signanywhere by directing them to try EchoSign’s Me Agreement app. To put it simply, he made people not only fall in love with him but EchoSign in general!
After the launch, we hit the streets of Austin! People were amazed at the ease of using e-signatures to sign their Me Agreement App anywhere, any time (not to mention the talking/dancing/multilingual robot). EchoBot was able to talk them through how to use it, impressing some of the most tech savvy people out there.
Day one was such a success we can’t wait to see what’s in store for the remainder of SXSWi.
The notion that Microsoft Convergence is “where opportunity and innovation meet” held very true for the Adobe EchoSign team on Day 2! In addition to attending several customer-success driven sessions, we also hosted our own at #CONV14.
Your customers are on the web and mobile, putting pressure on you and your own business to move faster and become more nimble. But, when a contract needs to get signed (print, sign, scan, fax, overnight, sign, fax, overnight back?), all of your work and timely efforts can come to a grinding halt! This is why our Adobe EchoSign product and sales specialists came together to open the dialogue on how cloud-based contracting with e-signatures is a game changer for anyone’s business, impacting the turnaround time for quote to cash process. The session also covered the opportunities that arise when customers (and their customers) adopt e-signatures including: saved resources, time, money and the additional ability to monitor and track (in real time) the visibility of the entire contract or sales process tied to EchoSign contracts or documents deployed from within your own Microsoft Dynamics CRM thanks to the EchoSign integration. Our plug-and-play solution seamlessly integrates to allow any CRM user to use EchoSign functionality and audit reporting, starting with one click, while never leaving your system.
The collaborative session from product and sales benefited the session attendees as they were provided live demos of the EchoSign integration, in which a real business scenario was established and the room of attendees were taken through the creation, deployment and tracking of a contract through Microsoft Dynamics CRM. As questions peppered the presenters, the team was able to provide solid insights on usage, legal compliance of e-signatures, case uses from each industry represented in the room and more details on the current promotion: a 20% discount that runs now through June 30, 2014. The presenters also discussed the power of who has EchoSign’s back! For example, backed by Adobe, the trusted provider across a broad portfolio of document exchange solutions, EchoSign has already experienced tremendous adoption running parallel with the e-signature category potential growth of 10-15% penetration in North America alone.
Out on the #CONV14 floor, the Adobe EchoSign team provided hundreds of live demos to showcase the new integration solutions. The social team was buzzing around and creating online discussions around the trending topics coming out of #CONV14.
Wow, Day 1 already here and gone and Day 2 is off to a wonderful start for the Adobe EchoSign team here at Microsoft Convergence 2014. It may have been partly influenced by it being Fat Tuesday but there was a definite, undeniable celebratory vibe throughout #CONV14. All the hard work, planning, training and product updates finally culminating into the first day of what is expected to be a very insightful #CONV14.
We wanted to share a few highlights from the kick-off of Convergence yesterday.
Adobe EchoSign, a Gold sponsor, is onsite as part of the Convergence experience to show folks our brand new integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013. As the only Microsoft-certified e-signature solution, we are giving demos of the easy plug-and-play app that helps accelerate the quote-to-cash process to just one click. Throughout Tuesday, we were able to demonstrate the ability to stay within your Dynamics UI to send contracts and digitize documents for e-signature. One area that many of the attendees were most excited to learn about the new integration was the ability to “Sign Anywhere” from any device as well as the functionality to be able to keep track of all contracts in real-time. Users are finding great value in the ability to use EchoSign to pull an audit trail of each contract or digital document to capture each step of the contract’s history to better understand the process and optimize it for better, more friction-free business. Oh the possibilities!
We are also all about “Caffeine networking” at our booth. Our onsite gourmet coffee barista poured hundreds of cups of hot joe throughout the day and is ready to keep you energized for the rest of the week.
Today, Wednesday, March 5 at 12:30 p.m., we will be in room B201 for a much-anticipated session on “Closing Deals Faster in the Cloud: Changing the Game for Your Company, Customers, and Partners.” Don’t get caught up with “Signature roadblocks” that can hinder the pace of your business. Join us for a vibrant discussion and real numbers on how esignatures can change your business.
A leading producer of travel media and events, Northstar Travel Media wanted to implement technology that could improve sales productivity and customer service by eliminating manual and duplicated processes. Based on Publication 1474 published by the IRS on January 4, 2014, it is now legal for any Intuit® payroll customer to sign Form 8655 electronically, thereby eliminating the need to print the form, sign using a pen and then fax back to Intuit.
Publication 1474 allows any reporting agent collecting Form 8655 to do so using electronic signature. The decision to allow the electronic signature was based on the IRS’ experience in working with Intuit and several other payroll providers on individual electronic signature pilot tests. Electronic signature is an easy-to-use functionality which simplifies the process of getting a document signed by guiding the user through a step-by-step process of completing and signing the document. The electronic signatures process is provided in partnership with Adobe EchoSign .
“This was a very long journey for Intuit that began more than four years ago when we first experimented with electronic signature for Intuit Assisted Payroll,” said Matt Gotchy, senior product manager for Intuit Full Service Payroll. “Today, I am ecstatic to report that we now have an electronic signature success rate of 91% – our highest rate ever. In Full Service Payroll, we’ve found that customers who electronically sign their legal documents reach first billing 28% more often.”
“We are very excited to see our collaboration with Intuit for enabling electronic signatures for Reporting Agent Forms achieving a significant milestone and getting approved by the IRS,” said Mangesh Bhandarkar, Director of Product Management for Adobe EchoSign. “Through the simplicity of the EchoSign electronic signature process and working closely with Intuit to streamline the user experience we were able to reduce errors, attain high completion rates and therefore achieve Intuit’s goals for implementing an e-signature solution. We look forward to continue working closely with Intuit as they expand their use of EchoSign from the pilot phase into production.”
The Council on Accreditation (COA) independently certifies that international child-and-family and behavioral health service organizations meet standards of excellence. To improve its own operational standards, COA has implemented Adobe EchoSign and achieved tremendous results.
“Adobe EchoSign improved our efficiency so that agreements are processed and returned 33% faster than the required 30-day turnaround,” says Tim Stockert, director of IT. “Not only are we accrediting organizations faster, but we’re growing the number of accreditation decisions we make every year.”

As a company that knows how to get things moved quickly, Crown Relocations recognized instantly that Adobe EchoSign would do wonders for its contracting processes, as well as other important company activities. Besides accelerating the process of client quote acceptance, the MegaSign widget in Adobe EchoSign helped the company raise $200,000 for The Salvation Army.
“We’ve never attempted a charity event of this size. Adobe EchoSign, and specifically the MegaSign and widget functionality, reduced our administrative load so that we could make the event a much bigger success than expected,” says Karlene van Zyl, assistant to the country manager at Crown Relocations.
